Imani “Ima” Bias is a multifaceted Creative Entrepreneur based in Long Beach, California, with expertise as a Dancer, Choreographer,
and Certified Pilates Instructor. Originally from Moreno Valley, California, Bias began her lifelong journey with dance at the young age of three.
Bias holds a comprehensive Pilates Certification, with a specialization in Dance Conditioning along with Associate Degrees in Behavioral and Social Studies and Fine Arts. A 2019 graduate of Cal State Long Beach, she pursued her passion for performing arts and has since worked with over 20 performing artists. Her impressive credits include working with Beyoncé, H.E.R., Koffee, Doja Cat, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Alex Isley, Terrace Martin, D Smoke, Roddy Ricch, Burna Boy, Sean Paul, and Pedro Pascal. She has collaborated with some leading brands such as Apple Inc. and Hulu. She has also worked alongside renowned choreographers such as Tanisha Scott, Laure Courtellemont, Fatima Robinson, Jaquel Knight, Oththan Burnside, Parris Goebel, and assisted Tanisha Scott with choreographing Sean Paul’s “How We Do It” music video featuring Pia Mia.

In addition to her performing arts achievements, Bias is deeply committed to fitness and self-healing. With over twenty-five years of dance training and eight years of teaching Pilates across the Inland Empire, Orange County, and Los Angeles she founded BODHI BY IMANI LLC in 2020. Through her health and wellness business, she helps clients on their healing journeysn by focusing on movement EXPLORATION, proper BODY MECHANICS, MINDFULNESS, MIND-BODY alignment, and the use of BREATHWORK. Bias offers open classes and private sessions for seniors, athletes, musicians, dancers, pre- and post natal clients emphasizing holistic well-being and empowerment. She teaches local classes with Crunch Fitness in Huntington Beach and Pilates on Purpose in Costa Mesa. Bias’ teaching credentials include: Athleta, Free Arts LA, California School of the Arts San Gabriel, and Los Alamitos Ballet School.
